Scale drawing of the turbines proposed for Meikle Carewe

The image below depicts the turbine size previously proposed: 10 turbines each 78m high. The new application proposes twelve turbines each 70m high.
The turbines are planned along a hill ridge so the sheer scale will be compounded since their bases will already be far higher than surrounding homes.

A similar sense of scale is obtained if you can imagine a 70m (230ft) high windmill placed at sea level in Stonehaven harbour. The top of windmill would be at the level of the hilltop war memorial which overlooks the town.
