This website will be updated as information becomes available and as time and resources permit us to publish more of the material we already have. If you would like to know when updates occur or if you wish to send us any information you think would help or you wish to comment on this website or the proposal for Wind Turbines at Meikle Carewe. ALTERNATIVES

We are interested in discussion about alternative uses for the site at Meikle Carewe since the discussion will highlight both the minimal level of national and community benefits and many environmental disbenefits attributable to the current proposal for wind turbines made by RES.
(The inclusion of any suggestion on this site should not be inferred as support by McWAG for that proposal).

So far suggestions have included:
Tree Planting.
Leaving the site as it is: Heather moorland.
Constructing a “wind croft” development.
